Tattoo Wall Covering

How can I decorate to hide uneven walls?

I am renting a place with a few people that for the most part is nice. My problem is that my bedroom has extremely uneven walls (when I say extremely uneven, I really do mean EXTREMELY.) I don't have a lot of money, otherwise I think I would paint my walls a dark colour (red or brown) and hope for the best. If worse comes to worse I will paint it. I did a quick job with cheap paint because the room was neon green originally and just needed to get rid of that.

A description of my room in case it may help:
My room is approx. 8'x10' and the ceilings are maybe 11'
My walls are an off-white and the ceiling is white.
My door is still a hideous neon green, and the trim around the door and the floorboards are yellow.
Right now I have nothing on my walls except a few pullout posters from tattoo magazines and a calender just to cover some very problematic spots.

If anybody has any ideas, PLEASE let me know. Pictures are appreciated!

Define uneven Crooked or Not flat. Are you male or female and Other then tattoos what type of style/design are you interesed in.

First let's get the door fixed and the trim. Get trim paint...paint it. You can get good cheap paint at the home improvemnt stores ..normally by the paint counter they have returned paint. See what's there.

If the walls are not flat...get plaster. If they are crooked Not much you can do.

To disguise the walls. Without spending alot. Make large frames by getting 1 x 3" wood Cut it in 2 sections of 3 feet and 2 sections of 4 feet Attach it with the metal "L"'s and screws. Paint it the same color as the trim. You now have a 3 foot x 4 foot frame. Make a several of them. On the side with the "L"s staple Fabric. Hang them. http://www2.arrl.org/news/features/2002/04/25/1/7-L_bracket-lrg.jpg http://www.ehow.com/how_5350871_make-cheap-wall-art.html

Or

Go to an art supply store and get large canvases. They can be different sizes. Paint them the same color as the trim. On the canvas you can do several things. Paint abstracts in a color to match your bedding. Glue a collage of images. Or tin can lids or jar covers ( these can be painted too)

Or
Make a "sculpture" of tin cans with the labels off and hang it.http://s3.amazonaws.com/curbly_uploads_production/photos/0000/0005/3962/DIY_artwork2.jpg You can even store stuff in it.

Find old shutters or window frames and hang them. If the window frames have glass you can put vynal window film on them and fix a light behind it. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000Q3QK0A/ref=asc_df_B000Q3QK0A970879?smid=A1VC38T7YXB528&tag=nextag-tools-mp01-delta-20&linkCode=asn&creative=380341&creativeASIN=B000Q3QK0A

Hope I gave you some ideas !
