Can Lubriderm Give Your New Tattoo A Rash?
I have been cleaning it and applying lotion to my 5 day old tattoo for a few days now, and the first two days i applied A&D ointment regularly. I have been getting small bumps that have been increasing in numbers steadily and it's on an area where i never break out. Can Lubriderm be causing this and am I able to stop lotioning all together/use the A&D again? Please help!
When can i expect it to go away? Also it is not just on the tattoo, its surrounding it in areas as well.
No! That is totally normal. The same thing happened to my tattoo that I got on my lower side. And the little bumps had spread a little bit. But lubiderm is the best lotion to use on you tat after the first two days of A&D ointment application. Just keep using it. Your skin is just adjusting to that ink being under your skin. It just has to get immune to it.
