Does anyone have a picture or graphic of WWII pilots wings?
My Grandfather was an Instructor pilot for the US Army Air Corps, rank of Major (which I believe is now considered the Air Force, since they sent the Honor Guard for his funeral). With his recent passing, I would like to add these wings to an existing memorial tattoo that I have but am not quite sure what I am looking for. I am hoping to get something as accurate to what he would have worn as possible.
Guys, I did my own google search and didn't find it. I was looking for someone who had a clue about what I was asking about. Not just answers I can find using a simple search that I already tried!!
