Polly from the HBO documentary THIN died?
Apparently, it was a suicide from sleeping pills. Here is her obituary:

She was the one who got kicked out for giving other women Rx drugs and getting an unauthorized tattoo. After that, however, she completed a 10 week outpatient program and was on a good path.
Although it was a suicide, how much do you think the anorexia and bulemia had to do with it? I know eating disorders and depression are related, but if the eating disorder was under control, why not the depression?
Because one is not completely connected to the other. One can definitly exacerbate the other. Having one under control most certainly does not mean that the other is also. The most dangerous time for attempted/completed suicide is when a person begins to feel better, and has the energy and know how to attempt it.
