Biblical Tattoo Verses
What are some biblical verses referring to the ear ?
I would like a tattoo behind my ear that either says "God is Love" in Chinese letters or in Hebrew, Psalm 54:2 in some fancy writing, or a biblical verse referring to the ear ... Any suggestions ?
Thanks Julius O. We are no longer under the old Testament, so I do not feel so ashamed about getting a tattoo.
There is no specific verses on the ear, i think the only one is: Luke 21:50,51= A certain one of them even did strike the slave of the high priest and took off his right ear. 51 But in reply Jesus said: “LET it go as far as this.” And he touched the ear and healed him.
Most all the other references to ear are in a symbolic sense, talking about what they are hearing, etc. When it comes to a tattoo, Consider also whether choosing to get a tattoo would enhance or undermine your claim of being a Christian. Could it be a "cause for stumbling" others?
I personally have two tattoos. Shoulder and Forearm. It is for my Wife, and also has three of my favorite bible verses.
In the Mosaic law they were told not to get tattoo markings on their bodies. But we are no longer under that law. Just need to make sure it is something we will not regret later on, or something that will cause a stumbling to fellow christians.
